Linlithgow Scotch Hop

Linlithgow Scotch Hop is Scottish Dancing for all. Everyone is welcome, and all dances are called (described while dancing) or demonstrated (before each dance starts). There is no alcohol or bar, but we serve water and juice all evening, with shortbread at the interval. Most of our events are on summer Wednesday evenings in July and August. For these, when possible, we dance in the open air courtyard, or the Great Hall, at Linlithgow Palace. If weather is poor we use an indoor venue nearby.
In recent years we have had to change our venues and numbers. Our web pages for individual events show the details. Some of this site may show details from 2019 or earlier, to let you see what we did in the “old normal”.
