By September 2023, there will have been a BID had been operational for nine years, with one further year remaining to the end of its second BID term.

During that time Linlithgow BID has raised investment funds from private business investment in the form of the annual BID levy. This levy from all businesses operating in the Linlithgow BID area is used to deliver the business plan that all businesses vote on every five years.

The result of the vote determines whether the Linlithgow BID will continue to operate for a further 5-year BID term or not. The next ballot will take place in January 2024 to determine the BID’s future to 2029.
