Miles Davis was the Sorcerer, the Prince of Darkness, the man who Fell in Love Too Easily. But when it came to interplay between the soloist and the rhythm section, his 1960s band set the standard for a generation. Featuring guest saxophonist Brian Molloy, Yati Durant (tpt), David Patrick (pno), Ed Kelly (bs) and mercurial drummer Dan Shearer perform tunes from the repertoire of Miles’ 60s band, putting communication, improvisation and creativity at the heart of the music.
