In the January edition of the Black Bitch magazine we covered the proposed arrival of our new Linlithgow Banking Hub. The latest news (at this time of going to print) is that an interim Hub will be set up in the foyer of the Burgh Halls and should be operational from Thursday 22nd May.
Opening hours of Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm. The facility at the Burgh Halls includes a single customer transaction counter (run by Post Office colleagues) together with a face-to-face meeting room where bank staff are scheduled to attend on the following basis :-
Monday – Santander
Tuesday – Barclays
Wednesday – (free at present)
Thursday – Royal Bank of Scotland
Friday – Bank of Scotland
In terms of a permanent home for the Banking Hub, Gemma Mackie from Cash Access UK (they are responsible for setting up Hubs across the UK), has confirmed that a suitable location has been identified and further information will be released once the Lease agreement has been finalised.
Our existing Bank of Scotland branch (and ATM machines) is due to close on 23rd June. Further Linlithgow Banking Hub information can be found at cashaccess.co.uk
