Halloween trail has become a very popular community event, attracting both locals and visitors alike to complete the pumpkins trail in Linlithgow town centre.
Last year’s halloween trail was a massive success with hundreds of trail leaflets filled out by eager participants.
The magic of the Pumpkin Trail begins well before the big day. In the lead up, the One Linlithgow (Business Improvement District) team delivered over 50 pumpkins to local businesses. All the businesses then decorate the pumpkins in unique and creative designs ahead for the trail.
Local businesses also dress their shop windows with autumnal displays, filling the High Street with seasonal charm. Many business owners even get into the spirit themselves by dressing up in Halloween costume.
Where to collect a free halloween event map
The halloween event is free and trail maps can be picked up from our BID information rack in Tesco Linlithgow. Many of the local businesses will also be distributing the trail flyers. Once you’ve completed the trial map, hand into Tesco customer services.
You will be entered into the draw to win a special prize.
Local businesses will be given their pumpkin on Monday 20th October to create into their creative masterpieces. Don’t forget to vote for the best designed pumpkin.
Linlithgow Monthly Loyalty Draw

To participate, pick up a stamp card from a participating retailer; collect your stamps in local shops; then hand in to Lilypond Crafts and Gifts or Complete Health at each end of the High Street. You can pick one up when completing the halloween pumpkin trail during the last week in October.

Linlithgow Gift Voucher
One Linlithgow has also introduced a Linlithgow Gift voucher in time for Christmas. It can be used in all outlets that accept also participate in the Loyalty Draw. The gift vouchers can be bought from Lilypond Crafts and Gifts or Complete Health in Linlithgow.
There is an obvious advantage of a town-wide gift card against one for an individual business. This arises if one goes out of business, then the gift voucher can be used in a range of other places in the town.
If you are struggling for ideas of presents to buy for Christmas, a nicely presented Linlithgow Gift card to support local businesses is what you need.
